ESSAY:

"Terrorism is a significant threat to peace and security, prosperity and people". (Ban Kimoon)

Terrorism means the use of force or aggression against a person, group or government. The main aims of such a destructive activity are to create fear and alarm in the masses. In the modern world, terrorism has become an organized activity. There are terrorist-organizations in the entire world which train terrorists for the achievement of their selfish motives. Mostly, these organizations are supported by some foreign agencies.

Recently, Pakistan has fallen a prey to terrorism. A number of innocent people have so far been killed by the terrorists. In our country, the sectarian terrorists are continually killing the innocent people in cold blood. They are professional terrorists. The sectarian leaders, who encourage hatred among different sects do not realize that they are committing the sin of fanaticism. They should realize that every Muslim has the right to follow and observe his chosen school of religious thought without any restriction . Evil forces and the enemies of our country have been, and are, attempting, time and again to spark "Sunni-Shia" violence in the country. Some anonymous group are financially backed and aided by foreign countries and anti-Pakistani secret services like RAW and MOSSAD.

"Terrorism has no nationally or religion". (Vladimir Putin)

During the last many years, Pakistan has become a favourite place for the terrorists to execute their destructive activities. Since last few years, innocent students, men, women and children have been killed mercilessly. In December 16, 2014 almost 134 students and nine faculty members were killed by the terrorists in Army Public School, located in Peshawar.

Now it is a time that our government, religious scholars, intellectuals and journalists should come forward to fight against the evil forces. Different law enforcement agencies should stop the illegal flow of arms and money from abroad. Agencies should have effective secret services, which can report all kinds of terrorists plans. The country should be free of illegal weapons. Many people in the western countries think that these Muslims have connection with terrorists. They have false notion as a true Muslim cannot kill innocent people in mosques and imam-bargahs. Our religion Islam gives us the message of universal brotherhood. Islam also aims at the welfare of all the human beings in the world, irrespective of their creed, caste, race and colour.

It has become inevitable to crush the terrorists, so as to restore peace and maintain law and order throughout the country. Our government must deal with the terrorists mercilessly under the laws of the country.

" The fight against terrorism is not just against a bunch of misguided extremists; it is a fight to defend the values that we hold dear". (Vikas Sinarup)
