ESSAY:

The word, 'progress' means to pursue a desired goal successfully. Only those nations are bound to blessed Pakistan with countless blessings such as minerals, mountains, lakes, natural scenery, rivers, seaports and boundless opportunities to grow and develop. The gifts of these natural resources can make Pakistan self-reliant in many ways. Almighty Allah has also conferred upon the people of Pakistan infinite inborn and innate skills to progress in diverse fields of life.

The creation of Pakistan is nothing more than a miracle for the Muslims of the sub-continent amid endless conspiracies of the British and the Hindus. It was only Quaid-e-Azam who proposed the plan for the establishment of a new independent state for the Muslims of the sub-continent. Pakistan was achieved in the name of Islam, the religion of peace and harmony, where the Muslims could live in accordance with the teachings of Islam. The Muslims of the sub-continent offered great sacrifices both economic and personal during the process of its formation.

Now, there is no other way to stand out among the rest but to utilize our natural resources and intellectual progress to put our country on the road to progress. Even our beloved leader, Quaid-e-Azam M. Ali Jinnah, said in his first address to his nation that he said "The creation of the new state has placed a tremendous responsibility on the citizens of Pakistan. It gives them an opportunity to demonstrate to the world how can a nation, containing many elements, live in peace and amity and work for the betterment of all its citizens, irrespective of caste or creed as it's a well-known proverb that united we stand; divided we fall".

Our object should be peace within and peace without. We should live peacefully and maintain cordial and friendly relations with our immediate neighbours and with the world at charge. We should have no aggressive designs against anyone. We should prioritize our national interests over personal gains or motives. Though we are passing through a difficult period and the need of the hour is to stand united and face the challenges together and the 21st century has placed before us many daring challenges and we as nation should not only accept them with great courage but fulfill them with our undiminished devotion and untiring efforts. It should also be the beginning of a new and noble era. We should also inspire the minorities by word, deed and thought so that they may fulfill their duties and obligations as loyal citizens of Pakistan, they have no fear and feel pride to be Pakistanis.

In conclusion, we can precisely state that Pakistan is a land of limitless potential and great opportunities for progress and prosperity. The need of the time is to put an end to regional differences, provincialism, social hatred, religious sectarianism and other such evils. We should also work, work and work as to be quoted by our great leader, Quaid-e-Azam for the real weal and welfare of our nation. All this can only be possible if we would continue working with great devotion, diligence dedication and commitment without looking back. And the day would not be far when our motherland, Pakistan, would be among the advanced countries of the world.
