ESSAY:

Kite flying is an interesting as well as dangerous game. A kite is a toy, made of a light frame of bamboo, covered with the paper. The frame of a kite is made of two thin strips, one long and the other short, fastened in the shape of a cross. The shape of a kite is a triangle with a curved base. Over this frame is stretched thin but strong paper with gum. Kites are made with the papers of red, green, yellow, blue, orange and different beautiful colours. A long string is fastened near the middle of the center stick of the frame and the kite is ready for flying. Sometimes, chemical string is used for kite flying, which can cut the hands of any body.

For kite flying, wind is very necessary. One must observe the direction of wind. To start the kite one person takes the kite and walks to some distance, while the boy who is to fly the kite stands still, holding the long string in his hands. The boy with the kite then throws the kite up into the air with  strong pressure. The wind catches the kite and blows it before it. The kite flier then pulls the string tightly to check and steady the kite. In this way kites rises higher and higher in the air. The kite flier lets more and more string out. The kite flies on with the wind. The kite flier can control the kite with the help of string; sometimes by pulling in and sometimes losing out the string easily.

Kite flying is an interesting and joyful activity. Many countries celebrate this activity with great enthusiasm. Boys and men, girls and women, old and children in all these countries hold kite flying contests. In Pakistan and India, kite flying game is played especially at Basant. The game of each kite flier is to cut the string of the kites of the other with the string of his own kite by making his kite fly across that of their.

In this way chemical strings are used. When the string of any kite is to cut, and the other kite falls, all the people race to catch it. Sometimes two opposite people catch the same string and both try to pull the same string. In the result, the chemical string cuts the hands of both of them. In this way many tournaments are taking place. Kite flying needs perfect skill and technique to manage a kite properly. In short kite flying is an interesting and joyful activity but sometimes it becomes harmful when any person is injured by the use of chemical string.
