Subject : Problems of Railway Travelers

Sir,

I wish to draw your attention to some of the problems being faced by railway travelers. I would also like to make suggestions for their solution. Most of our passengers find it very uncomfortable to wait for trains. They do not find proper benches to sit on. They also do not find enough fans in the summer and feel very hot.

So to remove the trouble of passengers, benches and seats should be provided at railway platforms. There should be fans and shades over them. Passengers find it difficult to get clean drinking water, especially in the summer. The seats of the lower-class compartments are not comfortable. It is suggested that the seats be made comfortable and soft. There should be better sleeping facilities for long distance travelers. Railway travelers often do not get food of good quality. The prices of whatever they buy to eat and drink in trains and at stations are rather high. It is suggested that better arrangements be made to provide good quality food at proper prices. I hope that you will kindly consider all these and other problems of railway passengers.
