It is a fact that students are the cream of a nation. The history of the world tells us that it were the students who brought about political and ideological revolutions. Now, the question arises whether or not students should take part in politics. Obviously, they should not take part in politics in normal circumstances that is when there is peace in the country. But when there is insurgence in the country, they should not sit as silent spectators.

Students are enthusiasts. Sometimes, opposition leaders have vested interest misrepresent facts and provoke them to agitate against the government. As such, the peace of country is shattered by the negative role of such misguided students. Such credulous students sometimes become paid agents of opposition leaders in order to topple, the government. This is the negative role of students which is very harmful for the country and is condemnable in every respect.
Sense of patriotism, therefore, should be cultivated in the middle of students so that they may never take such measures as are against the interest of their country. However, the positive role of these students can be very useful for the progress of a country because students are deemed to be the backbone of a nation. Of course, their positive roles can stand a nation or country on sound footing.
During emergency, students should be united and rise for action. Their all energy should be for the security and defense of the country. But in peaceful and normal circumstances, they should study their courses with concentration, so that, after holding key posts, they may serve their country for its security and defense. Anyway, they must be aware of the day after day political events of their country even in normal circumstances. They should not participate in politics. However, they must have political consciousness.
Moreover, they should be ready to stake their energy for the security of their country. They would never take any measure that may destabilize their country. They should become good human beings, good citizens and be ever ready to make every sacrifice for the construction and progress of their country. Admittedly, such students are a great asset for a nation.
