Subject : Deteriorating law and order situation in the country

Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw the kind attention of the concerned authorities towards deteriorating law and order that has ruined the total peace and mind of the people in our country.

There have been mobile and purse snatching crimes that are ever on the increase in our country. Sometimes, the criminals even take away bikes of the people at gun point. It seems that there is no law and order in our country. If I talk about our area, quite ironically, there is only one policeman on duty and most of the time he remains absent. There is a need to have at least two policemen on duty in and around our street, which is near the main bazaar, so that the criminal elements must be watched on properly.

As I have mentioned earlier that the street crimes are rampant in our area so every night is nothing more than an ordeal for the people living in our area. Many people have been robbed by the dacoits.

Now, there is a dire need for the law enforcement agencies to keep a strict watch on these criminal elements and they should appoint well-trained and fully equipped security personnel so that criminal activities of the robbers and dacoits should be checked.
