Subject : Information about the commuter's problems
Sir,
In these days, the public have been facing great problems during travelling in public transport from one place to another. The urban transport provided in the city is insufficient. In the morning and afternoon, hundreds of commuters are seen standing at different bus stops. They have to travel in wagons and mini buses.
It is seen that the drivers and conductors often misbehave with the passengers. They also misbehave with ladies and old people. Moreover, they pack the passengers in mini buses. Then the drivers run the vehicles at break-neck speed. They try to overtake the other wagons and cause accidents. On the other hand, everybody desires to travel by bus instead of taxi and rickshaw because common people cannot afford the high fare.
The situation is worsening day by day. Now it is time to provide better facilities to the travelers. So there are some suggestions to remove the problems of commuters. Firstly, try to import sufficient number of buses for the urban transport. Secondly, more private companies should be permitted to run their buses on the main routs of the city. Thirdly, transport department should inspect the whole system of bus travel in the city from time to time. With the application of these suggestions, commuter's problems can be solved.
