Subject : Rising Prices of things or Inflation
Sir,
Through your esteemed newspaper, I would like to attract the attention of the official authorities towards the sky-rocketing prices.
During the last few months, the prices of things of essential goods of life are increasing steadily. Vegetables and fruits are selling at very high price. The prices of cloth, shoes and ready made garments are out of the reach of the common people. The prices of mutton, pulses and oil are also increasing. The income of the common people does not match rise in prices. A large number of population of our country lives under the line of poverty. The poor people cannot buy all the essential goods for their children. The prices of the essential daily requirements are rising almost every next day. Nobody knows where this vicious circle of prices will end. Shopkeepers and customers haggle over the prices. Everyone has his own prices. Here are some suggestions to stop the growing of rising prices.
Firstly, the government should establish utility stores in every city and town of the country. Secondly, the distribution of essential commodities should be quick and proper. Thirdly, black marketers should be given heavy punishment. Shopkeepers should sale the essential things at retail prices. The government should adopt some relief programs to help the needy and poor people. In this way, we can solve the problems which are caused by rising prices.
