Subject : Maintenance and protection of a neglected graveyard

Sir, 

I want to draw your attention towards the miserable condition of ABC graveyard. This graveyard is surrounded by I-8-1, 2 and 3. It is also surrounded by H-8, 1, 2 and 3. It is a big graveyard and meets the needs of a large population residing in the neighboring areas. Unfortunately, the graveyard is not being looked after properly. There is a so-called 'Graveyard Committee' but it has badly failed to maintain.

First of all, the graveyard has no boundary wall. Some people have built encroachments upon this land and are using it for their private purposes. Some selfish people are cultivating crops on the open land of graveyard. They do not contribute anything to the welfare of the graveyard. Moreover, the graveyard has become a center of notorious drug addicts. Nothing is safe from their hands and people are afraid of passing by the graveyard. Some people say that at night a group of mysterious persons is also seen in the graveyard.

It is requested that proper steps should be taken to ensure the sanctity and security of the graveyard. We do hope that you will take personal interest in this matter as you are also the resident of this area.
