Subject : Absence of doctors from the hospitals

Sir,

I want to seek the hospitality of your newspaper to call the attention of the government to a big problem of today that is the bad quality of medical facilities, absence, as well as the maltreatment of doctors of general hospital with the patients.

Firstly, the general ward of the hospital shows the negligence of sweepers. The floors and walls of the ward are thick with the web of spider and dirt.

Secondly, the medical, surgical and dental departments do not have proper equipment. The operation theaters are not well equipped. They have lack of ultrasound machine, blood test machine and other surgical equipment.

Thirdly, the medical store is always short of medicines. The medicines prescribed by the doctors are not available at the store.

Finally, the doctors come very late in the hospital. Their behaviour with the patients is inhuman and bitter. Instead of serving the poor people of rural area, they sent them to their private clinics.

Here I hope that may this letter published in your esteemed newspaper will certainly draw the attention of the higher authorities. I do hope that necessary steps will be taken by the official authorities at their prior basis to improve the condition of hospitals.

Yours truly,

X.Y.Z.
