Meaning: to wait upon someone or something.
Sentence: Just bear with me while I finish downloading this file.

Meaning: To fail to keep a commitment or promise.
Sentence: He backed out of his promise and did not help us.

43. Drop in
Meaning: to visit someone without informing him.
Sentence: She dropped in for a while to inform about the ceremony.

44. Compare notes
Meaning: To exchange ideas, views, or opinions.
Sentence: Both owners held a meeting to compare notes for upcoming exhibition.

45. Crocodile tears
Meaning: false tears.
Sentence: He is a cunning person and his crocodile tears can not fool us.

Meaning: follow an example.
