The 21st century is the age of science. Science has progressed by leaps and bounds. It has brought about many revolutions is life of man. Science is a great blessing to mankind. It has transformed human life beyond imagination. Science has relieved man from his sufferings, removed his ignorance and lightened his toil. The very progress of mankind, from the primitive ages to the ultra-modern twenty-first century shows how science has influenced life. Science has transformed the very face of the Earth. It has blessed humanity with great and far-reaching inventions and discoveries. The wonders of science are still being unrevealed.
Science is a faithful servant of man of man. In the early ages, science helped man in discovering the uses of his hands and intellect for making tools , weapons and so on. The use of metals, wheels and the gradual inventions of various machines followed. Science has made traveling a pleasure. Modern vehicles, means of communication and the latest supersonic jets have made the world a smaller place. In one day, we can visit many cities of the world. Distance and stretches of times have been conquered by science.

Telephone, telegram, telegraphs and wireless flask the world in a moment. Sitting beside radio, television and computers you can easily enjoy movies, songs, news and matches being played thousands of miles away. On television you cannot only hear but can see. Internet has made the world a global village. Wireless has brought the countries closer. In the past life was dull, slow and tedious. The people just ate and slept. Now radio, T.V, mobile and internet amuse us. Electricity is our maid servant.
Monsters of the past have been conquered by science. Medical science has controlled many fatal diseases. Surgery has worked wonders. Science has helped us to make education popular.
The invention of atom has saved the man. It has lessened the dangers of major wars because of its dangerous results. We have loved to use the atomic energy for transport purpose. The means of communication have been made swift and more reliable. Man has succeeded to touch down the surface of moon. Atomic energy is going to play an important role in our daily life. It is used to solve many problems of man.
To sum up science has given us much more. It is we who have to decide whether it must be used for the betterment of mankind or for its destruction. So, we see that science has brought comfort pleasure, ease and prosperity in the life of modern man.
