Subject : Complaint about the use of unfair means in the Examinations

Sir,

I want to seek the hospitality of your newspaper to call the attention of the government to a big problem of today. It is observed that some students use unfair means in the examination. Sometimes they bribe the invigilators. Many times, they frighten, harass and threaten the examining body. Very often, they go to the examination hall armed with pistols. Sometimes students use written material in examination hall. If they are caught then they beg for mercy. A few students also use mobile phones during the exams. They upload complete data in their mobiles and use it during exams. Some students say that it is their right.

It is very sorrowful situation. Most of the students do not like it. They believe that they can get good marks through honest labor. If this practice continues, their labor will go waste. On the other hand, bad students will get good marks. Then they cause problems to the nation in practical life. I suggest the following steps to stop these evil activities.

Firstly, the people who use unfair means, should be given exemplary punishments. Secondly, if unfair means cases are formed against them, they should be undergone immediate trials. Thirdly, the superintendent of the examination hall should have the powers to award punishment to the culprits. If these steps are taken strictly, the use of unfair means in the examination can be root out.

Yours faithfully,

X.Y.Z.
